Katie Hooper

Katie’s passion for textiles began at a young age. Her mother was a talented dressmaker, seamstress, and upholsterer and taught her an appreciation for details and fine quality. While getting her BA in Textiles, Merchandising, and Interior Design at the University of Rhode Island, she interned for an interior design firm in Stonington Connecticut, and furthered her knowledge of custom draperies, wall and floor coverings, and fine furniture.

Katie brings 20+ years of visual merchandising experience when she scouts out new products at the North Carolina Furniture Show and then showcases these trends in the showroom.  Her focus is on listening to clients and translating their ideas and vision into a look and home they’ll love. She believes a home should provide beauty, comfort, peace, and lifelong memories.

Katie was incredibly helpful assisting us with design choices, which was all done by email, photos and telephone due to the pandemic. She even had samples dropped off to our house so we could see how they looked in our space. We are thrilled with our new dining room!”
